Nancy Hansen climbs all the big ones!

I would like to register my “speed” ascent on your website, but I can’t find a category for it. (wg note--I put this into enchainments, seemed best, and congratulations!) This weekend, I finished climbing the 54 11,000 foot peaks in the Canadian Rockies. It took me 7 years and 49 days. I was never trying for a speed record, although under the encouragement of my husband, I re-climbed the first three peaks (two via different routes) this spring and summer to cut two years off my total time.

If you have a humour category on your website, it might be a good place for this type of speed record. Five guys from Calgary have also ticked this list, and I believe they all took 20+ years to do it.

I climbed all of the peaks without helicopter assistance, except when I was rescued from the base of Goodsir South after falling off the damn thing.
