The Provider, WI 5 thin mixed, 120m, FA David Marra, Randy Colwell  March 04/05

Approach;  This three pitch route is between 'The Stage' and 'Lennon meets Slayer..Imagine'.  It is visible from the road, park and approach as for 'Wings and the Stage'.

P1)  WI 4 thin, 45m  Climb smear (takes short screws in places) to short pillar (rock gear behind pillar). Ice and/or rock belay.

P2) WI 3, 35m   Climb short WI 3, trend Left on snow ledge to ice anchor at base of last pitch.

P3) WI 5 thin, 40m  Climb thin curtain on Left to pillar (cam crack behind it), pull through steep section carefully to a small ledge and finish on a very thin, short pillar (rock gear behind).  Belay on large snow ledge with rock and ice gear (screw, small nut and baby angle).

Rap off tree to Right, then V-thread, two full raps.

Rack;  selection of short and mid size screws, few small-mid size cams, few small-mid size nuts, and a few pins are useful.
 
This is a great, moderate route with a mixed feel.  It has various thin, steep sections with good rock and ice gear on solid, comfortable belays.
