NTSS Interim Paragliding Rankings, July 11, 2006
Notes:
-Somehow Robin Sather flew in the Nationals even though he wasn't there... Fixed that erorr, thanks.
-I'm happy to see the surge in pilots from Quebec, including Bruno moving into 7th place.
-These rankings will "float" as the year progresses, see the January 30th Rankings for more explanation.
-Nicole McLearn is now in first place (by a slim lead, but still a lead!), nice work.
-The FVXC league and the Hedley Open did not reach 1,000 GAP points, so they are not valid for NTSS rankings as per the HPAC/ACVL rulebook.
-Alex Raymont is currently competing in Europe (nice job in La Chabre Alex!), I've just included La Chabre and the Monarca meet for him as his Nordic Open score was worth relatively low points. Only two foreign meets can count per year, if Alex pulls a higher result at an international meet I'll replace one of his other international scores with the new one.
-The 2006 Canadian PG Nationals suffered from low task (2152 GAP points) and field validity (420), but were still worth 328 NTSS points for the winner as we weight Canadian meets higher than foreign meets.
-Please email me if you want the original spreadsheets used to calculate all of this, they have the meet validity factors etc. in them.
